Cornish Pirates sign Penryn forward Ben Trevaskis

Cornish Pirates have signed 22-year-old forward Ben Trevaskis from Western Counties West neighbours Penryn.

The second row has been playing part-time rugby as well as featuring for the Cornwall under-20's side this season.

"To be signed by Cornish Pirates is a huge honour and an opportunity I will grab with both hands," he said.

Cornish Pirates director of rugby Ian Davies commented: "Ben is an ambitious Cornish lad and we look forward to seeing him develop over the season."
