Prop Samson Lee has been cited following Wales' 31-30 second Test defeat by South Africa in Nelspruit.

Lee, 21, is alleged to have struck South African lock Flip van der Merwe with his head during the second half of the match.

Citing commissioner James Absaloms from Kenya cited Lee under law 10.4 (a) - striking or punching an opponent.

The hearing at the Mbombela Stadium was held on Saturday evening with the verdict expected this week.

Scarlets prop Lee had been given his first Wales start, replacing Adam Jones in the XV.
