London Welsh have completed the signing of former Gloucester and Northampton hooker Koree Britton for next season.

Britton, 22, joined the Cherry and Whites in 2012 and made 17 appearances before moving to Northampton in May.

He only appeared once for the Saints as a replacement in a 74-13 Premiership win over London Wasps.

"Koree has the size and physicality we are looking for in building our squad of forwards," Exiles head coach Justin Burnell said.

"He also possesses the attitude and approach which is consistent with the environment that we have strived to build at the club."

London Welsh have transformed their squad since beating Bristol to clinch their return to the top flight of English rugby.

Britton is the 16th new face to arrive at the Kassam Stadium since their 21-20 win in the second leg earlier this month.
