Gloucester have confirmed that Rob Cook dislocated his shoulder in their 22-15 home defeat by Harlequins on Friday.

The 30-year-old full-back was replaced after hurting himself trying to score, only for the television match official to rule that he had been held up.

Gloucester have not said how long they expect to be without Cook, who has been a Premiership ever-present this season.

He arrived at Kingsholm from Cornish Pirates in 2012, and has since scored 127 points in 47 league appearances.
