Fly-half Billy Burns has committed to a new contract at Gloucester.
The 20-year-old came through the academy system at Kingsholm, along with his brother Freddie who left to join Leicester Tigers last summer.
Burns has played 13 games for Gloucester, scoring 20 points, and he has also earned eight caps for England at under-20 level.
"We see him as the future at number 10 for Gloucester," boss David Humphreys told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"He has a long way to go but he has shown he has the ability to perform at this level and he will give us added quality in our squad."
Burns, who won the Junior World Championship with England in the summer, added: "I've been really pleased with how my game has come on during my time here.
"It's a great honour that the coaches believe in me, and it's a big opportunity for me to continue my learning and development at such a great club."
