Plymouth Albion, who have a new board, avoided administration late last month

Plymouth Albion have appointed a new board, headed by new chairman Peter Vosper, after the previous members tendered their resignations.

Vosper, who is the existing president at Brickfields, replaces the standing down chairman Graham Stirling.

Dr Stirling, will remain on the board alongside past president and chairman of the board Roger Harris plus former head coach Graham Dawe.

"We now need to look to the future," Vosper said.

"Firstly in the short term we need to do all we can to keep the club in the Championship and at the same time prepare detailed plans for all eventualities in the long term."

Albion recently avoided administration after cash pledges.

The club are currently bottom of the second-tier Championship, with two wins in 13 games.
