Scrum-half Rhys Webb fears it will be a "brutal" week for Wales in training after their 21-15 loss to England in their Six Nations opener in Cardiff.

The Osprey held his hand up for a poor second-half clearance kick that coach Warren Gatland pin-pointed as one incident that helped England's revival.

Wales had led 16-8 at half-time but now face a must-win game away to Scotland.

"Get ready for a brutal week next week and a trip to Murrayfield, hopefully get back to winning ways," Webb said.

"I am sure the boys will be looking forward to hitting the hell out of each other next week. We will get stuck into each other.

"We will look back at the videos and the boys will put their hands up.

"That's where we are as a team - everyone will chip in and say their part.

"We will gather all that information and get back on the training pitch on Tuesday to put things right where we need to put them right."

As well as Webb's kick, Gatland said line-out errors were among the reasons Wales lost at the Millennium Stadium.

"Rhys Webb, he's done a box-kick that's gone straight up in the air - that's put us under a huge amount of pressure," said Gatland in the game's aftermath.

Webb admitted that his kick had been below par, but said that Wales must take the positives from the first half into the game next Sunday against a Scotland side that lost 15-8 to France in Paris on Saturday.

"We came out second half and we obviously wanted to... get the pressure away from us," Webb said.

"It was a bad kick from myself but I thought we defended well for a bit after that, but then a lack of concentration and they score.

"We'll take positives from the first 40 but we have to do the same second half, so it's just concentration for the full 80 minutes."

Webb did score Wales' only try to help them into an early 10-0 lead, and says they are still capable of winning the 2015 title.

"This team is definitely capable of doing that. It's a world-class team," Webb added.

"But we can't afford to switch off as we did in that second half.

"We didn't control the game, we were counter-rucked, sin-binned, and made basic errors. You can't afford to do that.

"It was just a bad day at the office. If we had played the whole game like we played the first half, it would have been a different story.

"It was just one of those games - a one-off."

He added: "But we failed to prepare and control that third quarter, and they scored a try. Indiscipline cost us after that.

"Every time we kept building something they did very well to slow our ball down. We didn't get any momentum.

"They are a world-class team. They have had a lot of injuries, but they have got strength in depth and they showed out there what they can do.

"Their back-row did very well, especially in the second half. Every time we tried to go forward, they slowed everything down and we lost momentum and just couldn't go anywhere.

"It wasn't the best day to be a scrum-half with those forwards coming at you all day.

"They were trying to cause mayhem, and maybe the boys switched off for a split second. In international rugby you can't afford to do that."
