George Kruis: England lock extends Saracens contract

England second row George Kruis has signed a new "long-term" contract with Premiership side Saracens.
The 25-year-old lock, who came through the Sarries academy and has made 97 appearances for the club, played in three of England's games in the Six Nations earlier this year.
"It's a big moment for me to sign on again. It was a no-brainer to extend my deal," he said.
Saracens have not disclosed the length of his new deal at Allianz Park.
Kruis made his first-team debut for Saracens in November 2009 and, after representing England Saxons, made his international debut as a replacement against New Zealand last November.
He has won seven international caps so far.
Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall said he was "delighted" Kruis had committed his future to the club.
"George has been in phenomenal form this season for both club and country, and his standing within the group has grown considerably," McCall added.
"He's only going to get better and better as a player, and we're excited to see him do that here at Saracens."
Meanwhile Saracens lock Maro Itoje signed a long-term contract with the north London side earlier this week.
The 20-year-old, who has played for England Saxons, captained Sarries to victory in the LV= Cup this season.
