Ospreys head coach Steve Tandy has targeted a place in the Pro12 final in Belfast on 30 May.
Ospreys beat Cardiff Blues 31-23 to secure their spot in the play-offs with two games to spare.
But Tandy is far from satisfied with a top-four finish.
"We should be happy and enjoy the moment but we want to do better. We need to tidy up a lot. We don't want to be going out in the semi-final stage, we want to go to Belfast," he said.
Tandy helped guide Ospreys to the 2011-12 title, but says the current squad is very different.
"We're building something. This is a team of youth and when you sprinkle in the senior players like Alun Wyn Jones you get a lot of good footballers.
"A lot was said about us, spoke about our young kids, but ticking off the Champions Cup and play-offs is a real positive within the group, which I'm really proud of."
Captain Jones played a crucial part in the team's victory, setting up the second try with a break to send Dan Biggar over.
Tandy was full of praise for his captain, saying: "Worldwide he's a high-class international. He's sensational.
"Not only is he a special rugby player, he's a special captain and special human being."
Ospreys host leaders Glasgow on Friday, but Tandy said that game should have no bearing if they meet again in the play-offs.
"Wherever we go I think we'll be ok. Ultimately it would be great to have a home semi-final," he added.
The semi-finals take place over the weekend of 24-26 May and the final is at Kingspan Stadium on Saturday, 30 May.
