Cornwall have lost to Lancashire in the County Championship final in the last two years

Cornwall reached a third successive County Championship final with victory over Hertfordshire at Redruth.

The Black and Golds rallied from 18-6 down at half-time as tries from Kyle Marriott and Robin Wedlake and a Matt Shepherd penalty sealed a comeback win.

Cornwall will play Lancashire in the final at Twickenham on Sunday, 31 May.

Coach Graham Dawe told BBC Radio Cornwall: "Lancashire are probably a better team than Hertfordshire. All we can do is give it a crack."

He added: "We think we can win this time and I am hopeful we can bring home the silverware."

It is the third year in a row that the two sides have met in the final, with Lancashire winning on the previous two occasions.
