Dylan Hartley will not change style after ban - Richard Hibbard

England hooker Dylan Hartley will not curb his aggression despite his latest suspension, according to his Welsh opposite number Richard Hibbard.

Northampton captain Hartley has been banned for four weeks for headbutting, ruling him out of England's first game of the World Cup.

But he could face Wales in Pool A on 26 September, and Hibbard does not think the Englishman will change his style.

"He'll do his time and I'm sure he'll come back just as aggressive," he said.

"He is that type of person - he's aggressive, he's in your face.

"He likes to live on the edge and that's his game. You can't take it away from him."

Hartley was cited for a clash with Saracens' Jamie George and has already been warned about his behaviour by England coach Stuart Lancaster.

The 29-year-old will now serve the sixth suspension of his career with the ban running from 15 August to 21 September.

Hosts England start their World Cup campaign against Fiji on 18 September, while Pool A rivals Wales' opening match is against Uruguay in Cardiff two days later.

Gloucester hooker Hibbard, 31, is expected to be named in Wales' World Cup training squad, which will be revealed on Monday 1 June.

And although Hartley's ban could jeopardise his place in England's squad, Hibbard believes the 66-cap England front-rower will retain his rugged edge.

"He's been a bit silly again unfortunately," Hibbard told BBC Scrum V Radio.

"But it's rugby, these sort of moments happen. Everybody has flashes. It's not a non-contact sport.

"If you take it away from him, you don't know what you've got then."
