Scrum-half Henry Pyrgos has been ruled out for about four months after having surgery on a wrist that he damaged while on World Cup duty with Scotland.

His Glasgow Warriors and international team-mate Fraser Brown is expected to be missing for around eight weeks.

The 26-year-old hooker has had an operation on a foot injury.

Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: "We wish Henry and Fraser all the best with their rehab and we look forward to welcoming them back."
