London Irish centre Fergus Mulchrone says he is not concerned about selection pecking orders as he focuses on a busy series of Premiership games.

Irish start 10 consecutive Premiership weekends away to Sale on Saturday.

Mulchrone scored a bonus-point try against Agen as Irish squeezed into the European Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

"I just continue to do my job, whether it's in Europe or the Premiership, and then let coaches do the selection," he told BBC Radio Berkshire.

Mulchrone, 29, has started just two Premiership matches for the Exiles this season, but has played a key role in their European Challenge Cup campaign.

"I don't worry too much about pecking orders. When I get given my chance, I try and do as much as I can to try and stay in favour," he said.

"I just keep working week-in, week-out and then leave it to the coaches to decide who they put out on the paddock.

"This is a squad competition, everyone's involved. We used something like between 33 to 35 players to help us get through to the quarter-finals of the European Challenge Cup."

Irish, 11th in the Premiership, will hope to end Sale's impressive unbeaten home record on Saturday, which stretches back to April.

The Exiles have not been the Sharks away from home since April 2011, before the club moved to the AJ Bell Stadium.
