Injured Joe Launchbury has been replaced by the recalled Courtney Lawes in England's 23-man squad for Saturday's match against Ireland.

Launchbury, 24, had been set to start for Eddie Jones' unbeaten side but has not recovered from a hamstring injury.

Wasps centre Elliot Daly is the only other change to the squad that beat Italy last weekend - and could be in line for his full England debut.

Northampton lock Lawes had originally been dropped for Wasps centre Daly, 23.

England won their opening two matches and top the table, while Ireland lost to France and drew with Wales.
