Topsy Ojo: London Irish winger feels attack will aid Premiership plight

London Irish winger Topsy Ojo believes attacking rugby will be the best approach to pull his side off the foot of the Premiership table.

Irish travel to Leicester on Sunday in search of a first away win for a year.

"We know if we start to get wins and consistently back that up, we will be able to take care of things ourselves," Ojo told BBC Radio Berkshire.

"The focus won't change," he added. "We want to turn up with that right frame of mind to get out of this hole."

The Exiles are five points behind 11th-placed Worcester and face the first of three "away" games at Welford Road.

They visit struggling Bath and then host leaders Saracens in New York in the following two rounds.

But Ojo and others have happy memories of their last visit to Leicester, when 17 points from the boot of fly-half Shane Geraghty inspired them to a 22-19 victory in September 2014.

"It's a new group, but there are enough guys who were part of that experience who can feed off that," Ojo added.

"When you get opportunities to take points, you need to keep the scoreboard moving as it eases the pressure at the back end of a game.

"Welford Road is not the place where you want to be chasing the game as Leicester can roll you away."
