Michael Dowsett: Worcester Warriors sign Australian scrum-half

Worcester Warriors have signed Australian scrum-half Michael Dowsett, to help cover for the loss of injured number nine Francois Hougaard.
Sydney-born England-qualified Dowsett, 24, has moved to Sixways following three seasons with Australian Super Rugby side ACT Brumbies.
Hougaard has been ruled out for three months following shoulder surgery.
He was one of 15 Warriors players who missed Saturday's 34-16 defeat at Harlequins because of injury.
"Obviously we're really disappointed to lose Francois for a lengthy period of time," said Worcester head coach Carl Hogg.
"But we're delighted to capture someone of Michael's quality. He is a young, hungry player who will provide stiff competition for the scrum-half jersey.
"His experience playing in one of Super Rugby's best teams, alongside a host of Wallaby internationals, will only be of great benefit to our young squad."
Dowsett will make his Warriors debut in Friday night's Anglo-Welsh Cup tie against Bristol at Sixways, partnered by youngster Jamie Shillcock at half-back.
Chris Pennell, who will captain the side, returns to his more usual role of full-back, allowing Worcester to play former Academy winger Josh Adams, who this week signed his first, undisclosed-length contract as a first team player.
