Exeter Chiefs went over for 10 tries against youthful Cardiff Blues as the Welsh region's Anglo-Welsh Cup campaign began with a big defeat.
Home fly-half Joe Simmonds crossed twice and the visitors also conceded a penalty try amid the pressure Exeter applied.
Visiting full-back Rhun Williams also scored a brace, as did debut-making wing James Beal.
But Chiefs were never in danger of losing control at Sandy Park.
