Billy Burns: Gloucester fly-half extends contract with Premiership club
- Published
Gloucester fly-half Billy Burns has signed a new, extended contract with the Premiership club.
The 22-year-old's existing deal had been due to expire at the end of the current season.
Former England Under-20 back Burns has made 30 top-flight appearances for the Cherry and Whites since his 2012 debut.
"Billy is a hugely significant one for the club. We're delighted," director of rugby David Humphreys told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"This club's success will be built upon players like Billy, building the team around them rather than going out and trying to bring players in."
