Lyn Jones guided Ospreys to the 2010 Celtic League title
Former Newport Gwent Dragons and Ospreys coach Lyn Jones is to return to rugby with the Namibian Currie Cup team the Welwitschias.
The team compete in the first division of the Currie Cup - South Africa's domestic competition.
Jones, 52, left the Dragons in April 2016 after nearly three seasons there.
"To coach in one of the world's truly great rugby competitions, the Currie Cup, is an opportunity too good to let pass me by," he said.
Jones won the then Celtic League [now the Pro12] with the Ospreys before a spell at London Welsh.
He won five Wales caps as a flanker, playing his club rugby for Neath, Llanelli, and Treorchy.
The Namibian national team is coached by Phil Davies, a team-mate of Jones' for Wales and Llanelli.
