Jersey Reds boosted their British & Irish Cup hopes with a Pool One victory over London Scottish.

Jersey went ahead early on when captain Joe Buckle crashed over from a maul.

Scottish hit back through winger Alec Coombes' try, helping his side to an 8-7 half-time lead.

Coombes got his second early in the second half, but the Reds went ahead again through Gary Graham's score from another maul before Kuki Ma'afu's late try denied the hosts a bonus point.

Ulster A and London Scottish are joint top of the group on 10 points, with Jersey just a point further back.

Cardiff Blues Premiership Select are in fourth, still without a win.
