Premiership side Worcester have signed Jersey Reds lock Pierce Phillips in a deal starting from next season.

Jersey captain Phillips has made 48 appearances for the Championship side, scoring three tries.

He is the second Reds player to agree a move to Warriors for next season, following prop Simon Kerrod.

Meanwhile, Jersey have signed South African back-row Ayron Schramm, 21, on a two-year deal, while flanker James Doyle has been released.
