Leicester Tigers centre Manu Tuilagi is set to return to action after three months out with a knee injury.

The 26-year-old is now back in training and will be considered for the Premiership trip to Wasps on Saturday.

Tuilagi, who has been capped 26 times by England, had surgery on his meniscus in September.

"Manu is training and we will make a call if we can fit him into the group or not," Tigers head coach Matt O'Connor told BBC Radio Leicester.

Tuilagi was out of action from January to September with an earlier knee problem before returning to score a try in Leicester's defeat by Bath on the opening day of the Premiership season.

However, he suffered an injury to his other knee during that game and has been on the sidelines ever since.

Tuilagi attended an England training camp in August but was sent home for disciplinary reasons.

His most recent international appearance came against Wales in March 2016.
