Pontypridd RFC launches appeal to fund £100k shortfall

Welsh Premiership club Pontypridd is hoping to raise £100,000 to solve a funding shortfall for the 2018-19 season.
Club officials confirmed the figure at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders that was held to address concerns over the club's finances.
Pontypridd intend to formulate "a viable five-year business plan is put in place for sustainable rugby".
The club is offering shares and hoping for donations.
There will also be an organisational revamp at Sardis Road with an executive board being formed to "support a management board"., external
