Grand Slam winning Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones has been named player of the 2019 Six Nations in a public vote.
The veteran lock beat three fellow Welshmen on the shortlist - Josh Adams, Liam Williams and Hadleigh Parkes, who all played as Wales clinched the title with a 25-7 win over Ireland.
England wing Jonny May and flanker Tom Curry also made the shortlist.
"For me as captain, it's a validation of what we've done as a squad throughout the campaign," said Jones.
The Ospreys player said he was "very flattered" by the award, adding: "To be up there as a nominee with three other Welsh players and two outstanding players from England would have been more than enough, and I'm very grateful to the people who have taken the time to vote."
Jones led Wales to wins against France in Paris and Italy in Rome before ending England's Grand Slam bid with victory in Cardiff.
Scotland tested Wales' defensive resolve in Edinburgh, but the visitors held out.
On the tournament's final day, Wales - and Jones - celebrated a third Grand Slam in 11 years after a ruthless display against Ireland.
Against Ireland, the 33-year-old made his 125th appearance for Wales and his 134th in Tests, including games for the British and Irish Lions.
At the other end of the scale Adams, in his first full campaign, scored crucial tries against Italy, England and Scotland.
Williams was man of the match against England, while Parkes scored Wales' key try and produced a try-saving tackle in the win over Ireland.
England wing May was the tournament's top try-scorer with six, including a first-half hat-trick against France.
Flanker Curry, 20, completed the list after a breakthrough campaign which saw him score tries against Wales and Scotland.
Ireland's Jacob Stockdale won the award in 2018.
