Wales and British and Irish Lions forward Taulupe Faletau returned from injury with a try in 14-man Bath's 41-24 loss at Wasps.

Rob Miller's early try was cancelled out by Bath's Tom Prydie before Faletau's score was sandwiched by Wasps tries for Biyi Alo and Elliott Stooke.

Bath had Semesa Rokoduguni sent off just after-half time.

But Ben Spencer put them ahead before Wasps hit back with four tries as Bath had Tom de Glanville sin-binned.

Paolo Odogwu and Alfie Barbeary both crossed twice for Wasps in the final 11 minutes to secure a fourth successive Premiership victory.

Bath remain bottom of the Premiership having lost 13 of their 15 matches.

Bath lost a third-minute lineout 10 metres from their line and Wasps pounced as Miller went over after passes from Charlie Atkinson and Josh Bassett, but Nathan Hughes' powerful run set up Prydie to go in unopposed.

But the visitors' two-point lead lasted just four minutes as Alo crashed over before Faletau - who had not played since injuring his ankle in the British and Irish Lions' second Test against South Africa in July - scored his first try since the final day of last season.

The number eight got on the end of the impressive Max Ojomoh's offload to go in after 32 minutes, but five minutes later Stooke scored against his former club after Wasps forced a turnover.

Rokoduguni's red card for a high shot on Sam Spink in the first minute of the second half put Bath under pressure, but they responded well as Spencer raced on to a Hughes grubber kick and Orlando Bailey landed a penalty to put them 24-17 up.

But De Glanville's yellow card for a deliberate knock-on as he tried to intercept a pass with 13 minutes left saw the floodgates open as 13-man Bath had no answer to Wasps' pressure.

Odogwu dived over in the corner two minutes later after Dan Robson's pass before the winger got his fourth try in the past two games as he did well to gather Jimmy Gopperth's crossfield kick and beat Joe Simpson to the right corner.

Barbeary, who was again released by England boss Eddie Jones after not making the final squad for the Six Nations game with Italy, scored twice in the final five minutes to put the gloss on the victory.

Wasps director of rugby Lee Blackett told BBC Radio CWR:

"I'm really happy with the result, I think five points at home, another win at home as well, we seem to be on a roll where we're in some confidence.

"There are little things we can definitely pick up, for the second week on the bounce we start really well, we get an early score and then we get ourselves behind and we have to come back with a late comeback again.

"Ten or 15 minutes in a rugby game is a long time, a lot of things can happen, and I thought the way we kept our composure from going behind was really pleasing, there was some good leadership out there."

Bath head coach Neal Hatley told BBC Radio Bristol:

"The red card is a massive turning point, I'm really disappointed with that.

"At that point we did well for 15 or 18 minutes, got into the lead with 15 minutes to go and then when Tom [de Glanville] got the yellow card with 13 on the pitch it's always going to be tough.

"I'm so proud of the effort they put in, but disappointed that we've made some of the same mistakes again.

"You look at the scoreboard, I'm a big believer in you get what you deserve and today I don't think we've got that."
