Kyle Sinckler has won 52 England caps but will miss their summer tour with a back injury
Bristol Bears prop Kyle Sinckler will miss England's summer tour of Australia with a back injury.
Sinckler, 29, has not played since April and is now understood to have been ruled out of the trip Down Under.
England head coach Eddie Jones is already without injured centres Manu Tuilagi and Henry Slade for the three-Test series against Australia.
The tourists will face the Wallabies on three consecutive weekends from 2 July in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney.
In Sinckler's absence, Wasps' Biyi Alo and Exeter's Patrick Schickerling both received their first call-ups to Jones' training squad on Monday, while Bath's Will Stuart and Newcastle's Trevor Davison were also included.
Wasps fly-half Charlie Atkinson, Gloucester flanker Freddie Clarke and Bristol back row Sam Jeffries have been included for the first time.
There are 16 uncapped players in the 35-man squad, with many experienced players involved in the Premiership semi-finals not available.
Experienced wings Jonny May and Jack Nowell both return.
May has spent five months out with a knee issue while Nowell broke his arm during England's Six Nations defeat against France in March.
The three-day training camp is the second time in as many months Jones has called in a large contingent of uncapped players, having named 10 in a squad in May, as he assesses his options before the 2023 World Cup.
England play the Barbarians on 19 June followed by their trio of Tests against the Wallabies.
Jones' side beat Australia at Twickenham in November but then produced a disappointing Six Nations campaign during which they were defeated three times.
The Australian said the unavailability of players from Premiership semi-finalists Leicester, Saracens, Harlequins and Northampton presented "the opportunity to call up some new players".
"It's a great opportunity to learn about them and see what potential they have to play a part in the Australia tour."
