Ireland seek a Grand Slam in the final match of the Six Nations against England on Saturday, but France have given themselves a chance of taking the title.

France saw off Wales 41-28 earlier in the day to go top of the table but, should Ireland beat England in Dublin at 17:00 GMT, they will win a first Grand Slam since 2018.

An Ireland draw, or a defeat with two bonus points - losing by seven points or fewer and scoring at least four tries - would also be enough.

If Ireland earn one bonus point in defeat by England, the title will be decided on points difference. Andy Farrell's side go into their final match with a seven-point advantage over France in that area.

If Ireland and France end up on the same number of match points with the same points difference, the title is decided by number of tries scored. France scored 21 in the tournament and Ireland have 16.

England would need a bonus-point win by at least 43 points to surpass Scotland in the table and avoid finishing fourth.
