Ealing have signed Worcester fly-half Ellie Green ahead of the new Premiership Women's Rugby season.

Green moved to Worcester in the summer from Harlequins but has returned to the capital after Worcester pulled out of the league due to funding issues.

The 22-year-old was called up to the England squad in 2021 and played 76 times for Quins, scoring 506 points.

She helped Quins win the 2021 Premier 15s title and was in the side that lost the 2022 Allianz Cup final to Exeter.

'I'm heartbroken my time at Warriors had to be cut short as I was settling in really well and enjoying my time there," Green told the Ealing website.

"However, thanks to Giselle (Mather, Ealing director of rugby) and Trailfinders I have the opportunity to continue my Premiership Rugby career and I'm so excited to get started."

Mather added: "Ellie is a young and talented fly-half who is going to make a huge impact at Trailfinders. She has a great skill set and possesses a wonderful right foot.

"She has an attacking mindset as a fly-half which will compliment the style of rugby we are looking to play and we are delighted to be a part of Ellie's next chapter in her Premiership Rugby journey."
