Bath's Fergus Lee-Warner will return to Australia next month after agreeing to join the Waratahs.

The 29-year-old loose forward moved to the Rec a year ago after Worcester went into administration and agreed a short-term extension for the start of this season to cover for the World Cup.

He played 21 times for Bath in all competitions, scoring three tries.

He joined Worcester in the summer of 2022 from Western Force but played just three times before the club collapsed.

"Fergus has been fantastic for our group since his arrival at Bath Rugby," head of rugby Johann van Graan said.

"He made a significant contribution on the pitch when he started playing for us, more importantly he will be remembered for the man that he is and the positive influence he has had on us in our journey," he added to the club website.
