James Elliott: Newcastle scrum-half extends contract until end of 2025-26 season
- Published
Scrum-half James Elliott has signed a contract extension with Premiership side Newcastle Falcons to run to the end of the 2025-26 season.
The 25-year-old has played seven first-team games for the Falcons since his move from Jersey in the autumn.
Elliott had helped Jersey to win the Championship the season before their demise.
"I'm really excited about where the club's going," said Elliott, who is currently ruled out with a foot injury.
"I've really enjoyed it even though we haven't got the results we wanted, but there's enough talent here to turn things round."
