Kofi Cripps: England youth flanker signs with Bristol for next season

Bristol have signed England youth international back-rower Kofi Cripps for the 2024-25 season.

The 20-year-old, who typically plays at flanker, was formerly part of Wasps' academy and has been playing for fourth tier National League 2 side Clifton Rugby, based in Bristol, this season.

Cripps made one appearance for the Bears in September on loan in the Premiership Rugby Cup.

He also represented England Under-20s during the 2022 Six Nations.

"Kofi is very highly rated within the England age group pathway and I'm sure will make an immediate impact as we build an exciting young squad for the future," Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam said., external

"He is the right age profile, is hungry to learn and improve and we're looking forward to seeing what he can achieve in the Bears environment."
