Gloucester-Hartpury hammered Harlequins 57-24 to seal a home Premiership Women's Rugby semi-final at Kingsholm.

The win also continues their impressive 13-match win streak in the league, while ensuring Quins remain in sixth place after only three wins this term.

Coach Sean Lynn's side scored nine tries, with Wales international Nel Metcalfe bagging a hat-trick.

England forward Sarah Beckett and Ireland hooker Neve Jones also grabbed two tries each.

Quins started strong when Shaunagh Brown went over for the opening try and remained in the game, trailing 21-12 at half-time.

However, the current champions showed their class in the second period with some free flowing and well-executed scores.
