Nick Schonert has played 59 times for Sale Sharks since joining from Worcester in 2021
Sale Sharks prop Nick Schonert will miss the end of the Premiership season after undergoing surgery.
The South African, 32, will be out until October following treatment on a bone spur in his foot that was affecting his Achilles.
Schonert, who joined the club from Worcester in 2021, signed a new contract until 2026 in February.
Sale, who are eighth in the Premiership and eight points outside the play-offs, face Exeter Chiefs on Sunday.
