Saracens back-rower Andy Christie has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken arm.

The 25-year-old suffered the injury in his side's 41-30 Premiership defeat at Northampton Saints on Friday.

The Scotland international completed the entire match as Sarries fell seven points behind the league leaders.

But the club have confirmed Christie, 25, will have an operation on the injury that will keep him out for 12 weeks.

Christie has played 17 times for the London side this season, scoring three tries, as well as making four appearances for Scotland in the Six Nations.

Saracens face Bordeaux Begles in the Champions Cup on Saturday.
