Exeter have signed Leicester Tigers scrum-half Lucy Nye.
The 28-year-old former England Under-20s and England Sevens player returns to her home town having spent the past two seasons at Tigers.
Former Wasps player Nye played youth rugby for Exeter Saracens and balances rugby with working for the Royal Air Force Police.
"Lucy can now blend her rugby career with living closer to family, friends and the beach," Exeter boss Susie Appleby said.
"The RAF are supporting Lucy by letting her concentrate on her rugby career next season.
"We are grateful for that and look forward to seeing how her game develops in a full-time environment here at Sandy Park while also bringing her natural leadership skills and adding some healthy competition to the scrum-half spot."
