Bristol prop Max Lahiff and back row Ben Grondona have signed new contract extensions to stay at the Premiership club.

Lahiff has made 104 appearances for the club since joining in 2019 from West Country neighbours Bath.

The 35-year-old, who can operate on both sides of the scrum, has scored two tries in 15 matches this season so far.

"He knows as long as he's able to keep ticking over and do what we want from him the contract will be there," director of rugby Pat Lam told BBC Radio Bristol.

"We've been able to see different parts of his game from the Max Lahiff that first arrived here to the Max Lahiff now.

"He's more of an all-round player and he has a big impact."

Grondona joined Bristol in January 2024 and has made 17 appearances since, including 15 this campaign in all competitions.

The 20-year-old Argentinian has been part of a recent Pumas training camp and is a "young player with huge potential" said Lam.

"He is dynamic, physical and hungry to learn and improve and his recent experience in the Argentina camp will stand him in good stead as he continues to grow and develop his game."

The Bears have been bolstering their squad ahead of next season with forward Harry Thacker and scrum-half Kieron Marmion both agreeing new terms last week.
