Italy have shown faith with the side defeated by Scotland in the opening round of the Six Nations with just the one change to face Wales in Rome on Saturday.
Niccolo Cannone replaces Dino Lamb in the second row as the Azzurri target back-to-back wins over Wales for the first time in their history.
There is also continuity among the replacements with Jacopo Trulla the only new addition as head coach Gonzalo Quesada opts for a six forwards two backs split.
Flanker Michele Lamaro is one of eight Benetton players in the starting XV and will captain the side which threatened a comeback at Murrayfield before the Scots ran out 31-19 winners.

The experienced Tommaso Allan, who kicked 14 points last weekend, starts at full-back, with Wales well aware of the dangers posed by wingers Ange Capuozzo and Monty Ioane.
Try scorer against Scotland Juan Ignacio Brex continues his midfield partnership with club team-mate Tommaso Menoncello, who was last year voted the Six Nations player of the championship.
Paolo Garbisi and Martin Page-Relo are the half-backs, with no place in the matchday squad for Wales-born Stephen Varney.
The pack has a familiar look with a front row of Simone Farrari, Giacomo Nicotera and Danilo Fischetti.
Federico Ruzza and Niccili Cannone are named as locks, with Lorenzo Cannone and Sebastian Negrin joining Lamaro in the back row.
Italy: Allan; Capuozzo, Brex, Menoncello, Ioane; P Garbisi, Page-Relo; Fischetti, Nicotera, Ferrari, N Cannone, Ruzza, Negri, Lamaro, L Cannone
Replacements: Lucchesi, Rizzoli, Riccioni, Lamb, Zuliani, Vintcent, A Garbisi, Trulla.
