Women's Rugby World Cup: Who are the leading try-scorers?
- Published
The 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup has featured high-scoring games, numerous hat-tricks and some dazzling individual scores.
Which players have scored the most tries at the tournament?
9 - Braxton Sorensen-McGee

Braxton Sorensen-McGee scored her ninth try of the tournament in New Zealand's semi-final defeat by Canada - the third highest by an individual player in a Women's Rugby World Cup.
Only Black Ferns legend Portia Woodman with 13 tries in 2017 and the United States' Jennifer Crawford with 10 in 1994 have better records than the 18-year-old.
The hugely talented winger scored hat-tricks in pool-stage victories over Ireland and Japan and will have one last chance to add to her tally in the third-place play-off match.
6 - Julia Schell
All of full-back Julia Schell's six tries at this year's World Cup came in the second half of the same match - Canada's win against Fiji in their opening Pool B fixture.
6 - Jess Breach
Having scored twice in England's opening win over the United States, winger Jess Breach scored her 50th international try against Samoa and went on to score a hat-trick. She celebrated her 50th cap by adding a sixth of the tournament in the 47-7 quarter-final win over Australia in Brighton.
6 - Desiree Miller
Rapid winger Desiree Miller scored a hat‑trick of tries in Australia's 73‑0 win over Samoa and followed that up with two touchdowns in the thrilling 31-31 draw with the United States, before taking her tally to the tournament to six in the quarter-final loss to Canada.
6 - Freda Tafuna

United States flanker Freda Tafuna scored twice in the drawn match against Australia and followed that up with four tries in the 60-0 win over Samoa. Tafuna will be unable to add to her tally after Australia pipped the USA to the runners-up spot in Pool A.
6 - Francesca McGhie
Francesca McGhie scored just 55 seconds into Scotland's Pool B victory against Wales and finished with a hat-trick. The 22-year-old former ballerina bagged two more in the win over Fiji and another in the defeat by Canada.
