Wales (7) 12
Tries: I Emanuel, Thomas Cons: Wilde
Scotland secured a rare victory in the Under-20s Six Nations as they defeated an ill-disciplined Wales 27-12 in Edinburgh.
The hosts capitalised after Wales scrum-half Logan Franklin was shown a 20-minute red card for an illegal ruck clearout.
Lock Tom Cottle then received a permanent red card for a dangerous and late challenge.
Inspirational captain Freddy Douglas crossed for two tries while there were further scores for wing Nairn Moncrieff and full-back Jack Brown.
Prop Ioan Emanuel and hooker Harry Thomas scored tries for Wales.
The young Scottish side had lost 22 out of their past 23 games in the tournament, with the only victory in that record coming at home against Wales in 2023 in Glasgow.
After wins against Italy and Ireland, Wales had been seeking a third consecutive victory in the championship for the first time since 2017 but discipline cost them dear.
Wales now host England in Cardiff next Friday night, while Scotland travel to face France.

Dynamic Douglas, wasteful Wales
Scotland head coach Kenny Murray made four changes with centre Angus Hunter brought in for his competitive debut at this level.
Douglas led the side again and his player-of-the-match display demonstrated the promise which saw him win a senior Scotland cap against Portugal in November 2024.
Dragons fly-half Harri Ford was given his first Wales start of the tournament but forced off early with an ankle injury and replaced by Harri Wilde.
Tom Bowen was switched from wing to full-back and produced an early electric break which just failed to result in a try, before Scotland showed a more clinical edge as the impressive Douglas powered over.
Wales scrum-half Franklin was shown a 20-minute red card for a "croc roll" clearout at a ruck on Scotland wing Moncrieff, who later lifted himself off the turf to score in the right-hand corner.
Wales might have been down to 14 but their power told when prop Emanuel drove over with Wilde converting.
Wales' line-out woes in the first half were exposed when a loose throw was pounced on by Scotland, with full-back Brown the beneficiary of a cross kick and Moncrieff offload.
More Welsh indiscipline saw lock Cottle take out Scotland scrum-half Noah Cowan with a late and dangerous challenge which resulted in a full red card from Japan referee Katsuki Furuse.
Wales were restored to 14 men early in the second half and piled on the pressure with hooker Thomas diving over from a wayward Scotland line-out.
Scotland survived the mini onslaught as replacement fly-half Isaac Coates slotted over a penalty before Douglas crossed for his second score late on.
