Cornish Pirates have added three loose forwards to their pack.

The Championship side have signed former Ireland youth player Fintan Coleman on a short-term deal.

Former Royal Navy back-row Chris Mills and Exeter lock Alfie Bell have also joined the Pirates on loan.

Coleman, 25, spent time at the London Irish academy and most recently played Major League Rugby in the United States for Old Glory DC and Nola.

"Fintan's opportunity to come to Cornwall has all happened relatively quickly, and he has also had to integrate immediately," joint head coach Alan Paver said.

"For us, it is obviously helpful that we can access someone of his quality in such short time, and we are delighted to welcome him into the squad.

"He is a bright and ambitious young man, who also has ability to play either in the second or back row, which is always good."

All three are in the Pirates squad for their Championship trip to Hartpury on Saturday.
