Saracens have signed Fijian prop Vilikesa Nairau from Championship club Coventry on an undisclosed contract.

The 22-year-old has represented his country at under-20 level.

Nairau began his career playing in Fiji for FMF Suva Rugby and moved to Coventry last year.

"I would like to thank the almighty God for the blessings that he has given me and of course the coaches and the management for putting their trust in me to come and join the family," he told Saracens' website, external.

"It's my first professional rugby contract and I'm ready to stand alongside the boys and fight along with them."

Saracens are currently fifth in the Premiership, level on points with fourth-placed Sale Sharks, with two games of the regular season remaining.

Loosehead prop Nairau will join up with the north London club before the start of next season.
