Camborne won their Cornish derby against neighbours Redruth 38-17 at the Recreation Ground.
The win continued Camborne's unbeaten run against the Reds since winning promotion to National Two West two years ago - having now won four and drawn one of their five clashes.
An early try helped the hosts go into the break 24-3 ahead - a lead that they never looked like giving up during a stop-start second half.
The win means Camborne have a perfect record of 10 points from their opening two fixtures of the season.
"We had a great start with 24-3 up at half time," Camborne boss Tom Kessell told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"Obviously we let them back into the game which was a little bit cat-and-mouse in the second half.
"But as an overall performance I'm very, very happy and I'll definitely take that."
The defeat was a first of the season for the Reds, who beat Loughborough Students 36-31 in their opening fixture last week.
"We just came up against a very good team and gave them a few too many entries through ill-discipline, which is a bit disappointing," captain Ed Pascoe told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"But you've got to give credit to Camborne, they played some really good rugby and we've got to learn pretty quickly.
"Luckily, we've got another game next week and we've just got to keep rolling with that."
