BBC Sport will have exclusive rights to broadcast every game of the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup in England.

Select matches will be shown on the BBC's linear channels, while every game will be available to watch live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Sports Extra will also broadcast radio commentary on the tournament, which begins on 22 August.

Sunderland's Stadium of Light will host the opening game, while Twickenham will stage the final on 27 September.

Hosts England are one of 10 teams to have already qualified for the World Cup.

Ireland qualified by finishing third in the Women's Six Nations, while Scotland and Wales are set to guarantee a place through WXV, which will also be shown across the BBC.

"Next summer is set to be a huge moment for women’s sport and following coverage of WXV and the Women’s Six Nations on the BBC we’re proud to bring audiences exclusive coverage of Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 hosted in England," said Alex Kay-Jelski, BBC director of sport.

"Big sporting moments have a unique ability to unify bringing people together and never more so when international competitions play out on home soil. And we cannot wait."
