Saracens have signed England loose-head prop Liz Crake from Trailfinders for the 2025-26 Premiership Women's Rugby (PWR) season.

The 30-year-old is one of the 32 players to have been on a full-time England contract this past season.

Crake first played for Saracens' amateur side as a teenager before moving to Wasps, who she captained prior to the team dropping out of the league.

"I wanted to raise my game and fall back in love with it - I started at Sarries when I was 15 and the standards speak for themselves, so I'm ready to get stuck in," Crake told the club website., external

Crake was working full-time as a dentist alongside playing for Wasps when she was called up for her first England cap against Scotland in the 2023 Six Nations.

She moved to Trailfinders two seasons ago, with the club finishing seventh in the table last season.

"She's a really well respected player who we have admired for some time from her Wasps days," added Saracens director of rugby Alex Austerberry.

"She's very physical and impacts games in very positive ways hence her England caps. She's a player we are excited to work with and I'm looking forward to her bursting back onto the scene in a Sarries shirt."

Saracens have not disclosed the length of Crake's contract.
