Sean Lynn was hopeful the British and Irish Lions fans would come out and support Wales on the eve of the third Test against the Wallabies.

They have certainly answered his call, red shirts have been pouring through the gates.

It should be a great atmosphere.

  2. 'We are not the finished article'published at 09:56 British Summer Time 1 August

Head coach Sean Lynn says it would be an amazing achievement if Wales could complete a series win against Australia.

Wales are playing on Australian soil for the first time in their history and claimed an impressive 21-12 victory in Brisbane last weekend.

Both sides have made sweeping changes in what will be their final preparations ahead of the Rugby World Cup which kicks off in three weeks.

Lynn says he is wary of the wounded Wallaroos as they prepare for their Sydney showdown.

"We know Australia are going to come at us, they're a proud nation just like us and we've got to see if we can back up our performance," he said.

"I've been so impressed with the 30 players and their positivity,

"The girls who weren't involved last week, they were amazing, they helped the starting 15 as much as they could and it's been the same again this week.

"I keep saying it, we're not the finished article, there's still a lot we need to be looking at, but everything that I spoke about when we first turned up for pre-season, we're making small positive steps."

Back to Jasmine Joyce-Butchers on here special day.

It has been a momentous time as she admits that her and wife Alisha have "wanted a baby for so long" that the timing of their pregnancy is irrelevant.

The Wales duo announced they were "keeping a little secret" in May after Alisha was absent from the Six Nations.

The 28-year-old flanker will naturally miss the Rugby World Cup which kicks off in England in just over three weeks.

"Everyone was asking Alisha 'why now, why now?'," said Jasmine, who is set to win her 50th cap against Australia on Friday.

"But there is always something in rugby, there is always something that comes up and you're like 'we'll wait for that, we'll wait for that'."

I've just been for a walk on the pitch and given the amount of rain we've had in Sydney today (and all week), it looks in decent shape.

There's quite a bit of surface water, but it's a hard ground so hopefully it won't cut up too much.

The weather, like it did in Brisbane, is going to have a big impact today and it may come down to who can manage the conditions.
