    Leinster 24-10 Ulster

That strength in depth we mentioned at the break is in evidence now. A quite incredible triple sub from Leo Cullen as he changes his entire front row.

Off go Jack Boyle, Gus McCarthy and Thomas Clarkson - all Ireland internationals themselves - and on come Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan and Tadgh Furlong.

    Wow.

The try stands! It was actually a knock on by Luke McGrath that the officials were checking for but it was ruled to be ok.

From the base of that ruck, the ball was spread wide and Jamie Osborne broke the tackle of Wilhelm De Klerk before recycling the ball to Ringrose via Alex Soroka.

He goes over in the corner and Ciaran Frawley pushes the conversion wide. However, that is a big early second half blow for the men in white.

Hold on a second! The TMO is checking for a potential forward pass. A potential reprieve for Ulster.

We are back underway at the Aviva Stadium and Leinster are immediately in the Ulster 22.

This first 10 minutes of the second half is utterly critical for Ulster because that Leinster bench to come on is daunting.

Izuchukwu has been good around the field and excellent defensively at the lineout. This is a man who hasn't played for weeks and the try was magnificent. He looks a serious operator at this level

If you want an idea about the strength of Leinster's bomb squad bench, the numbers make scary reading.

Leinster: 196 Ireland caps and 39 Springbok appearances (and two World Cups).

Ulster: 24 Ireland caps (11 of which are already on the pitch in John Cooney)

    Yikes.

It's going to be so deflating for Ulster, a big team talk needed at half-time and then they will start the second half a man down and it will be a huge battle.

The frustration will be that Ulster have played well but go in with a nine-point deficit. When they have gone through the phases, they have looked dangerous.

That penalty try on half-time puts a harsh slant on the scoreline at the break. Richie Murphy's men have been right in this game and have given Leinster problems.

Leo Cullen's men have been clinical with their visits to the Ulster red zone and the visitors have been rocked by injuries in the first 40.

Can they stay in the game down to 14 for the first nine and a half minutes after the restart?

Ultimately, Leinster are awarded a penalty try and David McCann is sent to the bin on the stroke of half time for collapsing the maul.

That is a big double whammy blow for Ulster that will make the start of the second half even more crucial but difficult.

Gianluca Gnecchi is making his TMO work here as Leinster are over the line but the referee wants to check the lineout, potential Leinster obstruction at the maul, Ulster collapsing said maul and Leinster grounding.

    Phew!

Ulster are the walking wounded in this first half as Andrew Warwick goes for an HIA and is replaced by Callum Reid.

Wow! What a return to action for Cormac Izuchukwu!

Nathan Doak deserves huge credit for winning the ball in the air to get that one moving too.

Brilliant play by Ulster, started by the high ball take from Nathan Doak, he does well to win it, a couple of good carries and then that inside pass. A brilliant finish by Izuchukwu, who showed his pace and athleticism

    Cormac Izuchukwu (con Murphy)

John Cooney's high kick is taken superbly in the air by Nathan Doak on the Leinster 22. Cooney is then instrumental in putting Cormac Izuchukwu through a gap and the big man shows the burners on his return and slides over under the posts.

Jack Murphy knocks over the simple conversion and Ulster are right back in this with a couple of minutes until half-time!

It's about staying in the game; it is not out of Ulster's reach as Leinster are not firing on all cylinders.

    Thomas Clarkson (Frawley con)

Ulster steal a Leinster lineout but Jack Murphy's clearance kick doesn't go too far and the hosts go on the attack inside the 22.

James Culhane makes good ground to get them on the doorstep and, after a couple of phases, Thomas Clarkson burrows over. Ciaran Frawley adds the extras this time.
