This doesn't look great. Time off as Claudia MacDonald needs some treament to her knee. She looks in real pain.

It's a bit scrappy at the start of the second half as England try and slow the game down. France break sharply but Alex Matthews does really well to steal it back.

While Rizzle Kicks play some hip-hop, I am thinking just how big that error was from Zoe Harrison.

That dropped ball gave France hope and two answered tries have closed the gap to 10 points.

Plenty of England fans are dancing along at half-time and don't look too worried.

Rizzle Kicks have lifted the mood!

    Simon Middleton
Former England women head coach on BBC Two

I am amazed France are in the game. They could have been 50 points down in the first half.

England made two errors and France are back in the game.

  13. 'France were sloppy early on'published at 17:35 British Summer Time 26 April

    Maggie Alphonsi

France were really sloppy and England were up in no time but France are very good at recognising when teams over-commit in defence and come out of the line too fast.

Every time England have kicked out of hand the last 20 minutes they have been massively punished - who is leading the team and saying “STOP KICKING THE BALL”

  15. All over?published at 17:33 British Summer Time 26 April

A timely reminder that France almost stunned England when they last travelled to Twickenham in 2023, when they scored 33 points in an incredible second-half fightback.

The game finished 38-33 as France cut loose in attack in the second period, scoring tries from all over the pitch, showing what can happen if you kick inaccurately to their dangerous backs.

That's nine tries in the half, if you've lost count.

No it's not, it's eight, I have lost count.

    Brian Moore
Former England hooker on BBC Two

France rewarded for their endeavours up front. They have the carriers to make significant ground against England. It's just the discipline to know when to go to the backs and when not to go.

Converted try - England 31-21 Francepublished at 39 mins

    Marine Menager (con Bourgeois)

Brilliant score! France are patient, picking their time to pick the ball up and fling it wide, captain Marine Menager is not wrapped up by a desperate tackle and dives over the line.

The brilliant kicker Morgane Bourgeois adds a tricky kick and France are within 10!
