  1. Missed penaltypublished at 15:57 British Summer Time 7 June

    Leinster 25-5 Glasgow Warriors

Penalties galore from Glasgow as that is the one stat they are dominating today. Their eleventh is for the tackler not releasing with an advantage already being played for another scrum penalty - despite the changes. Jack Conan asks Andrea Piardi the question about when a yellow card may be produced.

However, Sam Prendergast's horror show off the tee continues as he strikes the post with his relatively simple three point attempt. That is about the only thing keeping the visitors in this one.

Jordie Barrett barges over the line but loses the ball before grounding thanks to a big double hit from George Horne and Kyle Rowe.

The home crowd think Horne's arm was high but nothing doing from the officials.

Leinster are winning the physical battle, the territory battle, the aerial battle and the tactical battle.

Glasgow are just unable to get anything going. Much of that is down to Leinster pressure, but the URC champions are not doing much to hold onto their crown right now.

  4. Replacementpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 7 June

    Leinster 25-5 Glasgow Warriors

Glasgow replace their entire front row plus one second row. Just four minutes into the second is all that Franco Smith gave them to prove themselves.

In come Johnny Matthews, Rory Sutherland, Sam Talakai and Max Williamson.

  5. Kick-offpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 7 June

    Leinster 25-5 Glasgow Warriors

We are back underway here at the Aviva Stadium. Franco Smith has reacted to that first half by replacing fly-half Adam Hastings with Stafford McDowall.

  6. Snyman among URC award winnerspublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 7 June

    HT: Leinster 25-5 Glasgow Warriors

Leinster second row RG Snyman has been named the 2024-25 United Rugby Championship's Players' Player of the Season.

The 30-year-old South African lock has made a significant impact in his first campaign at Leinster after moving from Irish rivals Munster, helping Leo Cullen's side reach the URC semi-finals.

The award is voted for by the captain and vice-captains of the 16 URC teams and has previously been won by Leinster hooker Dan Sheehan and Munster fly-half Jack Crowley.

Meanwhile, Zebre's Massimo Brunello was named coach of the season - as voted for by the league's other coaches - after leading the Italians to five wins, including rare away victories over Ulster and Edinburgh.

Scarlets fly-half Ioan Lloyd won the golden boot and Cardiff's Harri Millard finished as top try scorer, while Munster's Tom Farrell was named playmaker of the season.

Snyman was one of two Leinster players included in the 'Elite XV' team along with Jamie Osborne, while three Munster players were selected - Farrell, Craig Casey and Tadhg Beirne.

  7. Leinster rain on Warriors paradepublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 7 June

    Colin Gregor
Former Glasgow Warriors back on BBC Radio Scotland

The last 10 minutes of the first half was pretty emphatic for Leinster.

The initial Warrors response to the early try was excellent, but they have not really fired a shot since.

Leinster have adapted more than Warriors to the heavy downpour that made handling more difficult.

  8. Half-timepublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 7 June

    HT: Leinster 25-5 Glasgow Warriors

That has been a powerful first half from Leo Cullen's men and they hold a commanding lead at the break. It could have been more but for Sam Prendergast's faltering GPS off the tee.

Franco Smith will need a big half-time team talk if they are to get back into this but they did trail in last year's final at the break. That is a small crumb of comfort for the Warriors as the boys in blue are in ominous form

  9. try

    Dan Sheehan

That man again! Glasgow stray offside and Sam Prendergast opts to go for the corner with the clock in the red.

The maul gets rumbling and, as night follows day, it is Dan Sheehan who is at the back and dots down after a powerful drive.

Prendergast leaves yet more points out there with a missed conversion but Leinster head to the sheds with a 20 point advantage.

  10. Glasgow lacking accuracypublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 7 June

    Leinster 20-5 Glasgow Warriors

    Andy Burke
BBC Sport Scotland at Aviva Stadium, Dublin

Leinster are squeezing Glasgow, they're putting them under pressure in all aspects of the game and when Warriors do get their hands on ball they are over-playing and lacking in accuracy.

Another try before half-time for Leinster and this game is probably done.

  11. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 7 June

    Leinster 20-5 Glasgow Warriors

Sione Tuipulotu makes some much-needed ground up the middle for Glasgow. They move the ball wide to Carl Steyn who is isolated and Leinster pile into the ruck.

The ball goes out for an away lineout but, George Horne can't hold on to the slippery ball inside his own 22.

  13. try

Try Leinster 20-5 Glasgow Warriorspublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 7 June

    Thomas Clarkson

After another scrum penalty, Leinster go into the corner and work a training ground lineout routine that brings James Lowe on a short line off the top.

The Glasgow defence can't stop the big tighthead prop Thomas Clarkson from crashing over. Sam Prendergast misses again which will frustrate him but the hosts are pulling away and Franco Smith's men need to stem the flow somehow.

  14. try

    Jamie Osborne

This one counts and what a score! Jamie Osborne is not be denied as he finishes off a beautiful handling move in the left corner.

Leinster bounce back on the near side thanks to Jimmy O'Brien who finds James Lowe. The British and Irish Lion offloads beautifully out of the back of his hand to Osborne who streaks in for the score.

The difficult conversion is pushed wide by Sam Prendergast but it is now a ten point lead with ten remaining in the first half.

    Leinster 10-5 Glasgow Warriors

    Chris Paterson
Former Scotland international on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was a kick battle in the middle of the park and Glasgow are probably guilty of overplaying.

It is a really quick counter-punch from Leinster, but it looks forward.

  16. Let-off for Glasgowpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 7 June

    Leinster 10-5 Glasgow

    Andy Burke

Let-off for Glasgow, but it's the correct decision.

Jamison Gibson-Park will be annoyed with himself. It wasn't a difficult pass and he held on to it a split-second too long.

Glasgow need to try and get some territory here.

Leinster thought they had a try with Jamie Osborne going under the posts. He got there via a pass from Jamison Gibson-Park but it was clearly forward.

Glasgow will breathe a sigh of relief after coughing the ball up in midfield.
