Coronavirus: Tour Championship in Llandudno called off

Snooker's Tour Championship in Llandudno has been postponed over coronavirus fears.
World snooker had hoped to run the event for the world's top eight players behind closed doors at Venue Cymru.
On the morning of the tournament however they accepted it could no longer go ahead after latest UK government advice.
They now provisionally hope to stage the event due to run from 17-22 March at the same venue from 21-26 July.
Until the late cancellation it had appeared that the Tour Championship might be the only sporting event other than possible behind-closed-doors racing to survive the current crisis in the UK.
In a statement World Snooker said: "We appreciate this is very short notice and a disappointment for the fans and the television audience, however the assessment could only be made at short notice after yesterday's announcement from the government which came at 5pm.
"Announcements on future events including the World Championship will be made in due course, with all scenarios to be considered depending on further government advice."
The World Championship is scheduled to start at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield on Saturday, 18 April, with qualifiers at the English Institute of Sport in the city the previous week.
