Reigning champion Judd Trump will play Kyren Wilson in the first round of the 2024 Masters at Alexandra Palace.

The tournament, in which only the top 16 in the world rankings compete, will run from 7-14 January.

England's Trump, 34, beat Wales' Mark Williams 10-8 in the 2023 final to lift the trophy for the second time.

World number one Ronnie O'Sullivan will take on Ding Junhui in the last 16, in a repeat of Sunday's UK Championship final won by O'Sullivan.

The first-round opposition for Ding and Williams was not determined until the outcome of the UK final was known, but Ding's defeat in York confirmed Williams as one of the higher seeds in the Masters draw and he will face Ali Carter.

Elsewhere, world champion Luca Brecel will play Jack Lisowski in his first-round match, while debutant Zhang Anda will be up against 2015 Masters winner Shaun Murphy.

Mark Williams v Ali Carter
